We went to a Canucks game a few weeks ago when they played Washington. We missed the first period and part of the second as I had physio that night. Too bad we missed seeing the only 2 goals the Canucks scored that night (except for the winner in the o/t shootout). It was my first time ever seeing an overtime game and the shootout.
My parents came over for my aunt's 65th b'day dinner a few weeks ago. That was at the beginning of my cold so I wasn't feeling well enough to go to the house for b'day cake :( Oh well, at least my mom had a good visit with her family.
Wow, it's hard to believe I walked 20 miles today. What a beautiful day for a walk for mid-November. Luckily the rain and wind stopped in time for me to walk this afternoon. The past month has been a struggle with marathon training. The weekend after the Victoria Half Marathon I had a bout of arthritis. This was when we had to turn the heat on for the first time in months. Along with the arthritis pain came fatigue so I wasn't able to do any training for a week. Once I felt better I walked again but then after only a week I came down with a cold and more fatigue. This time I wasn't able to train for a week and a half.

Last weekend I did my 3.5 mile Saturday walk on the treadmill and then did the long Sunday walk (18 miles) on Remembrance Day instead. I only did a 4.5 mile walk on Thursday and didn't do any other walks during the week until today. Hopefully this week I'll be able to do all the walks on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday. Only 14.5 miles to walk next Sunday. Yee ha, and then only 3.5 the following Sunday before the marathon. It's hard to believe the big day is only 3 weeks away!!! But after walking 20 miles today, another 6 miles is definitely doable.
