Ray and I have seen a few movies in the past few weeks: Indiana Jones, The Incredible Hulk and the latest one we saw was tonight - Kung Fu Panda. All were action packed although Grandpa Jones and the Panda were hoaky being quite far-fetched. I liked all 3 of these movies as they kept my attention all the way through. But I enjoyed the Hulk the most.
C and I went to Nanaimo for Father's Day a few weeks ago. The 12:30 boat was supposed to be the new Coastal Renaissance ferry. We had taken that on Mother's Day and I was looking forward to going on it again. But it ended up being one of the old ones as the new one was getting fixed at Departure Bay. Oh well.

- Hi, welcome to my world! In October, 2006 I walked my first half marathon in Victoria. By raising $4500 for the Arthritis Society I was able to walk my first full marathon in Honolulu in December. In 2007 and 2008 I raised $300 each year for the BC Cancer Foundation's Underwear Affair (for cancers below the waist). It's a 10km run/5km walk - I walked and the fundraising minimum was $300. The walk was late in the afternoon (yee ha) and afterwards there was a party with dancing and prizes for best costumes! There were a lot of brave people in their skivvies!

That's quite a few movies lately! You were surprised that Kung Fu Panda was hoaky?? Looks funny though.
