Been on Facebook a lot doing updates and haven't been on my blog for awhile. So thought I'd recap a few highlights.
I had quite a few different b'day celebrations last year. The first was with some cow0rkers...we went bowling at Grandview Lanes on Commercial Drive and then went out for dinner at Sweet Cherubim on Commercial Drive. Went out for lunch with coworkers to Solly's off of Cambie. Went for lunch with the French guy at Milestones on Cambie. I can't remember what was wrong with my food but I think my chicken might've been too dry or something like that. So I was given a gift certificate for $25 which I used to take the French guy out for his b'day dinner with his wife and kid.
I had the Aquarium's first-ever adult-only birthday party and R, C and E and I did the sea otter encounter afterwards. D, C, E and I did the sea turtle encounter earlier in the year. It was so cool feeding Schoona! My b'day party was so much fun. I got to go inside the gate and feed the fish inside the big exhibit near the entrance. I had no idea what halibut looked like or how big it was so it was cool when it came to the top. It looked like a giant diamond.
Ray and I went to New York and Cape Cod last year. We climbed the narrow spiral staircase to the crown at the top of the Statue of Liberty. Tickets had to be bought about 3 or 4 months ahead of time so I heard people being disappointed when they found out they couldn't go to the top. I enjoyed going to the Hershey store and being surrounded by all the chocolate and the huge Hershey's Kiss and huge Reese's Peanut Butter Cups.
Went to Milestones with my family on my b'day and the next day went with C to Schokolade for chocolate afternoon tea which was deeeelicious!
