Ray and I played badminton as usual Saturday afternoon. Then we went to Save-On and later that evening went to see the movie Inkheart with Brendan Fraser. I wanted to see Benjamin Button but the latest one was at 7:45. Perhaps another weekend then. I enjoyed Inkheart, thought it was original and quite entertaining. But Ray didn't like it as he thought too logically about it. I told him it's just a fairytale. Oh well.

Then on Sunday D and I went to a beginners hot yoga workshop. It sure was hot but since it was dry heat I got acclimatized to it. I drank over a litre of water and think I lost a pound or two in sweat! Now that I've tried yoga in the heat I prefer it over regular yoga. My back and neck felt good afterwards. After yoga we went on a tour of the Richmond Oval - it looked so big from the outside. I was looking at the ice and wondering where the gyms were for badminton/volleyball/basketball. Haha, the gyms were in the middle of the oval inside the perimeter of the ice track! All the workout equipment and machines were high above the ice overlooking it and the gym. There was filming going on on the far side of the rink. When I asked the tour guide what was being filmed she didn't know but she thought it might be an athlete's profile. D and I went to Ikea afterwards as I wanted to get a new floor lamp as ours died. The one I wanted was sold out. But I don't think it would be bright enough for the living room. Perhaps I may get another halogen one. D had never been to the Starlight Casino so we went and ate at the bar and grill there.
