Wow, I can't believe June is over already! Where did the month go? Let's see, here are some of the highlights from the past month.
I had a very successful fundraiser on June 10 at Revs, the Bowling and Entertainment Centre. I raised about $400 that day and about $300 in donations resulting from people who couldn't make it. Besides the bowling I sold some wallet size first aid kits and Arthritis Society bracelets there. Thanks for your support everyone and for helping me surpass my minimum fundraising requirement of $4500 for the Arthritis Society's Joints in Motion Training Team!!!

- Hi, welcome to my world! In October, 2006 I walked my first half marathon in Victoria. By raising $4500 for the Arthritis Society I was able to walk my first full marathon in Honolulu in December. In 2007 and 2008 I raised $300 each year for the BC Cancer Foundation's Underwear Affair (for cancers below the waist). It's a 10km run/5km walk - I walked and the fundraising minimum was $300. The walk was late in the afternoon (yee ha) and afterwards there was a party with dancing and prizes for best costumes! There were a lot of brave people in their skivvies!
